Course programme
This course is aimed at workers who have successfully achieved the key trainer qualification within the last 12 months, and who have responsibilities for the training of staff who are required to carry out manual handling or moving and positioning duties.
The course includes both theoretical and practical session. Candidate will be expected to show a Key Trainer certificate dated within 12 months of the date of the refresher.
This training is relevant to workers who are required to train and support workers who carryout manual handling and support individuals by moving and positioning them.

- Understand the anatomy and physiology in relation to manual handling and moving and positioning individuals.
- Understand the legislation that relates to moving and handling and positioning individuals
