Course programme

Course structure Over three days material is delivered through expert presentations, case studies, and focused group work. Active participation from delegates is strongly encouraged. Each day concludes with a plenary session to synthesise the topics covered during each day. Participants are encouraged to bring along case examples of their own experience. All delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
What you will learn

Students will consider marine/offshore energy activities and environmental interactions as part of sustainable planning of energy engineering activities within coastal and marine environments. The focus is on assessing environmental risk and managing activities according to the combined perspectives of the industry, coastal and ocean regulators and stakeholders with the overall objective of moving ahead with marine energy development(s) using appropriate and proportionate assessment according to best available knowledge.
