Course summary:
The course is designed for sea going engineers holding existing EOOW certificates or higher who are required to operate, adjust and to repair the various control systems on-board. The five day course covers all aspects on existing and modern control methods and equipment and is tailored to maximise the practical aspects of the work carried out on board.

- Measuring Devices and actuators.
- Signal Processing and conditioning
- Process Control and data acquisition
- Programmable Logic Controllers

The course will deal with the aspects of control and instrumentation that a marine engineering officer should understand and have knowledge of, to serve on a modern vessel.
