Course programme

From understanding feelings and emotions to creating something unique and comfortable. As an Interior Designer at the highest level you need to be able to work with the emotions of clients and spectators.

Who is an Interior Designer
Interior Designers plan and organise the design and decoration of interior spaces. Their work can involve homes, offices, exhibition and set design, hotel and luxury store design and display. Naturally considering all aspects such as cost projection, time line materials and construction technology, designers work with architects, customers and the brand management in order to fulfil the precise needs of the client.
In contemporary spaces for hospitality, living and shopping, the Interior Designer must have a real talent in designing interiors and must balance the interplay between desire, image and essential practical needs. Maintaining a strong image, offering clients new exciting ideas with revolutionary concepts cannot offset all structural needs. Environments need to work on both the functional and emotional sides.

The Interior Design programme starts by stimulating and consolidating your imagination, forming your creative identity and knowing how to combine it with the needs of your clients.
We will then help you deepen this understanding: from sound to therapy design, from lighting to emotional design with a solid grounding of contemporary design analysis and space planning. We also give great attention to the experimental side, giving students the freedom to discover what does and doesn't work.
After learning how to recognise and understand clients and their needs, developing your own brief to match their thinking, you will be able to apply this knowledge to a variety of interiors; from homes to hotels, designer restaurants and luxury retail to boutiques.
