Master's of Data Science

Year 1
Harbour.Space's Data Science Master’s programme prepares students to become industry leaders in the field. Utilizing an innovative curriculum, experienced professors, real-world experience, and a network of like-minded driven individuals the Harbour.Space Data Science Master’s programme is pioneering this new frontier of human knowledge. Develop the analytical and programming skills needed to extract valuable knowledge out of data.

Year 2
During the second year of the program, students will primarily focus on learning the key applications of the data science as well as advanced methods in mathematics and data analysis. Through completion of the program, students will learn to conduct data analysis on any scale, develop the software necessary for analysis and present the results in professional and efficient ways.

The MSc programme is designed for those who desire to deepen their comprehension of all aspects of the data science. Applicants could be graduates from other degrees with a strong mathematical core, or those continuing their academic pursuit after achieving a BSc in data science.

While we are highly selective, we do not base the decision on the review of the grades and transcripts alone. We consider the overall certificates, motivation, and recommendation letters as well as awards, achievements, and extracurricular activities.

The Master's programme builds upon the foundation learned in Bachelor's programme and goes further in-depth in mathematics, programming, algorithms, databases, statistics, optimisation, bioinformatics, information retrieval, and machine learning. The programme offers a rich set of elective courses covering cutting-edge achievements in data science.
