Course programme
MODULES:
Course work is organized into 5 main areas of study: supply chain management, humanitarian action, strategic management, process and project management, and research methods.
COURSES:
MASHLM courses are interactive. Lectures are complemented by games, simulations, case studies, and group work. Students actively contribute to classroom discussions, adding their practical know-how to academic theory.
EXAMS:
Each one-week block is followed by final exams and assignments which students work on in their own time and deliver via the internet. Exams are administered online using the icorsi e-learning platform.
PROJECTS:
Between the study blocks in Lugano, students will work individually or in small groups on projects designed to allow participants to put into practice what they have learned in class.
THESIS:
The culmination of the program is the delivery of a master's thesis. - Improving Non Food Items Management and Accountability
- Participatory Games as a Possible Road to Safety
- A Systems Dynamics Approach to Evidence-Based Policy Design for HIV/AIDS Response Programs
