Description

The Master of Agricultural Science covers the integrative disciplines within the animal, plant, soil, food and social sciences continuum in 1.5 years. Select from one of three specialised fields of study to gain comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge. Fields available are: Agronomy, Horticulture and Plant Protection. Learn to apply your leadership, research and problem solving skills to meet the global challenges associated with feeding the world, and maintaining our environment in situations of increasing community expectations of animal welfare, biosecurity concerns, and competition for limited resources. It is an ideal program for graduates and professionals seeking to expand their career prospects into a wide range of government, commercial, community based or research roles in the broad field of agriculture and environment.A limited number of Commonwealth supported places are available for domestic students. CSP students pay a student contribution amount, which varies depending on courses undertaken, rather than paying tuition fees. Domestic students who apply for entry to the program will automatically be considered for a CSP. CSPs are limited and are not guaranteed for all domestic applicants. CSP Information
