Master of Medicine (Sleep Medicine)

The course provides advanced postgraduate training for students who intend to pursue a career within the general field of sleep medicine, or for professionals already working in the area of sleep medicine.

After completing at least 24 credit points of study with an average weighted mark of at least 75%, students are able to upgrade to the Master of Medicine (Advanced)(Sleep Medicine).

Outstanding graduates may be eligible to pursue a higher degree by research in the courses of Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy. A research degree provides students with the opportunity to prepare a substantial piece of work which represents a significant contribution in a particular field of study; and to gain transferable skills in general research methodology.

Many of the courses offered are pre-accredited for Continuing Medical Education (CME) points, and other courses may be awarded CME points on request to your relevant association or professional body. A successful applicant for admission to the Master of Medicine (Sleep Medicine) will:
(a) hold a medical degree (MBBS or MD equivalent).
