The Master Stone Design can be followed in recorded mode thanks to the dedicated student area. The student, who is connected online, will display the lesson just made without the burden of the transfer.
PROJECT WORK
The Project Work Program is a synthesis of the student’s educational path through the elaboration of a project provided by a client, partner of our training reality. The students, followed by Tutor Senior and Tutor Junior, are called to measure them with the real problems of design. According with the time and budget decided by the customer himself the student will have to implement th project in 140 hours.
STAGE
The stage is activated at the end of Project Work. Our Job Counseling service deals with selecting the most desirable professional profiles and organizing interviews with relevant companies.

Course programme
The II Level Master, an important teaching proposal of the IUAV University, aims to form a specialized figure in the field of stone artifacts, able to read and interpret the meaning, to carry out contemporary works and to act on the built with in-depth knowledge Of the expressive, technical and technological potential of the stone material. This training requires design, historical, technological, regulatory knowledge, able to compose an articulated view of planning, maintenance and recovery needs.
The educational program is divided into four modules in which the hours of technology and geology will be transversally distributed in the training modules to investigate the material in the historical but also contemporary times. Ex-cathedra lessons will be held by architectural and urban design teachers, restoration, landscape, history, geologists and mining engineers, operators and industry specialists, all specializing in the field.For each module, visits to production sites, lectures by specialists and conferences from international designers that work or have worked with stone are planned. Workshops, guided tours, tutorials and tutorials will be coordinated by responsible teachers supported by the collaboration of tutors and practitioners of the subject formed in master or specialized courses dedicated to the specific theme.
Professional outletsThe Master will ensure the formation of a good historical-critical, technical-executive and design competence, of particular interest to design studios, industry companies, technical offices, architectural commissions, and oversight of artistic property.
