About this course

This CPPD Program brings awareness, knowledge and anatomy, physiology and pathology of the reproductive and endocrine systems, principles and practice of Maternity Reflexology and healthy eating and wellbeing for the Maternity Reflexology client. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide Maternity Reflexology.

This CPPD program is aimed at qualified reflexologists holding a recognised qualification such as VTCT, ITEC etc.

Candidates should have a caring disposition and be committed to fulfilling both Practical and Theory Elements of the program. You must meet the required Guided Learning Hours (GLH) of 30 hours by attending our centre for the Practical Elements and by working through the Theory Elements, taking part in online discussions, assessments and reviews with your tutor and assessor via our Virtual Learning Environment.

Course programme

Practical elements are covered at our centre over a period of 1 day 10.30am – 4.30pm or 2 hours per evening for 7 weeks. Theory elements are covered by in your own time via home study using our Virtual Learning Environment.

Mandatory units include:
  • Principles and practice of Maternity Reflexology
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the reproductive and endocrine systems
  • Healthy eating and wellbeing for the Maternity Reflexology client
  • Provide Maternity Reflexology
This program requires the learner to provide evidence of competence in the form of assignments, demonstrate sufficient knowledge to be able to explain fertility and maternity reflexology and provide it safely, effectively and consistently. Independent study is an essential part of this program and you will be required to complete both practical and theoretical assignments at home. Observation Assessments will take place during the program’s practical elements.

Upon completion of both Practical and Theory elements a Maternity Reflexology CPPD Certificate of Achievement will be awarded and graduates will be eligible to add fertility and maternity reflexology services to their current insurance policy and practice professionally.
