Course Description

Modules Studied:
- Handling Data - This is about collecting data, processing and representing it and then interpreting and discussing the results.
- Using and applying number and algebra. This is about numbers and the number system, calculations and solving numerical problems. It also includes equations and formulae, sequences and graphs.
- More number and algebra. Using and applying shape, space and measures. This includes harder algebra. Also geometrical reasoning, transformations and coordinates, measures and construction.

Attendance Modes: Day
Assessment: Assessed in Module 1 with two 25 minute papers (18%). In Module 3, you will take two 40 minute papers (27%). In Module 5 (55%) two papers. There are two tiers of entry. Higher Level (for Grades A* to D) and Foundation Level (For Grades C - G).
Progression Routes: This course develops a firm foundation for appropriate further study.
