Functional skills are practical skills that equip learners with the necessary knowledge and understanding to use and apply Mathematics in everyday life, so they can get the most out of work and education. You should consider this course if you have an E or below at GCSE Mathematics.

What does the course involve?
Mathematics is one of the three functional skills. You will be required to learn skills, which mean that you must be able to use maths in work and life situations.
