Frequently Asked Questions
What grades can I get?
The grades available at higher level are A*, A B, C, and D.

Is it possible to obtain a grade A?
This is only possible if you enter at the higher level. We will not be able to cover the whole of the higher specification in the available time, so you will need to do some extra work on your own.

Are there any entry requirements?
Ideally, you should have a grade D at GCSE. If you have a lower grade, you could still be successful - contact the Mathematics department if you want more information.

I haven't done any Maths for a long time...
If you are unsure about starting this course, contact the Mathematics department or Adult Guidance and someone will be able to help you decide if this course is for you.
