Mechanical Engineering First Diploma Entry Requirements

• A range of GCSEs at D or above including Maths, English and preferably Science or equivalent OR
• A relevant equivalent Level 1 qualification with equivalent literacy and preferably numeracy.

Entry is subject to a successful interview.

Content
You will develop practical mechanical skills including turning, milling, grinding together with engineering principles theory. Welding and Maintenance will also be aspects of engineering that will be studied. This course includes a variety of modules including engineering materials, science for technicians, mechanical principles and mathematics for technicians.

Key Skills will form part of your final qualification.
