  • South West Durham Training Ltd. was founded in 1967 on Aycliffe Industrial Park as a Group Training Association to provide training facilities for local manufacturing and engineering companies predominantly around the Newton Aycliffe and Darlington area. The company now has trainees across the region from Cramlington in the north, Harrogate in the south, Barnard Castle in the west and Hartlepool in the east. Housed in their own purpose built, fully equipped and modern training centre on the outskirts of Darlington, the company employs a full time staff of 50. It also retains a list of associate trainers and consultants who can be called upon to meet the ever-increasing demands in specialist high level provision.
