It is a multidisciplinary field that benefits from the integration of various engineering disciplines.

About this course

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, University of Debrecen (Hungary) has a joint Master of Science Program in Advanced Mechatronics Systems with the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics of the University of Oradea (Romania) in English.

This advanced degree combines courses of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering together with courses in mechatronics and robotics. Specific areas of study include mechanics, electronics, design, signal analysis and processing, computer systems, computer science, sensor and actuator technology, automatic control, electrical system design, robotics and microprocessor technology.

The curriculum of Mechatronics Engineering MSc program (in English) is 2 years, ie. 4 semesters, in each semester there are 14 teaching weeks. The curriculum includes subjects of advanced knowledge in the field of Mechatronics and Robotics and other advanced courses.

To obtain a Master degree, students in Advanced Mechatronic Systems must obtain the following number of credits:

110 credits for compulsory disciplines
10 credits for optional disciplines
10 credits for dissertation, thesis presentation.
