Study Method:
This full time course is studied over two years with attendance at college usually three days per week.

Who the Course is For:
This course is suitable for school leavers and mature students who want to work in the television, radio, music industry and related media areas.
Assessment:
All assessment is through college set assignments, externally verified by Edexcel.
Course Leads To:
If you want to get a job straight away you could work in: Film, Video and TV production, Radio Production and the Music Industry, Advertising, Marketing and other Media related jobs, other employment utilising transferable skills.
If you decide to go to university you could take a degree or HND in: Media Studies, Television and Audio Production, Sound Engineering and Audio Technology.

You will study specialist units in topics such as : Television Studio Production, Film Studies, Music Video, Advertisement Production, Video Editing, Interviewing Techniques, Audio Production, Single Camera Techniques. Students wishing to take the journalism pathway will be able to study Writing and Editing Copy and Page Layout and Design units.
