Satisfactory school report GNVQ Intermediate or BTEC First Diploma in Media, or 4 GCSEs at grade A-C or equivalent, including one GCSE in a relevant subject At interview applicants will need to talk through a film extract they have enjoyed or provide a show reel

This is a two-year programme combining theory and practice, following the Moving Image Pathway, which reflects the balance of skills and knowledge needed in the media industry.

Qualification Aims
The main aim of this course is to allow students to complete the Media Level 3 course while obtaining skills that can be used in the workplace or as a progression onto higher education courses.
Assessments/Examinations
Continuous assessments and assignments. External tests on key units.
Cost / Equipment
Students over 19 may be required to pay tuition fees. Registration fees for all students who are aged19 or over at the start of the course will be approx£110
Students will need to provide basic items for notes and essays and some consumables for areas such as photography etc., and photocopy cards.The cost of visits will also need to be met. This will be approximately£30.
Help with essential equipment costs may be available to students who experience financial difficulties.
