MEDIA - LEVEL 3 UAL EXTENDED DIPLOMA CREATIVE MEDIA PRODUCTION & TECHNOLOGY (RQF)

Interested in films, radio, magazines, newspapers and more? Thinking about a career in the media? The Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production could provide you with the perfect start. Using our state-of-the-art television, radio and design studios, you will work across a range of subjects, for example directing your own documentaries, writing and recording radio dramas and creating professional-looking magazines. Your lecturers are all media professionals who will help you to develop the practical skills you need, as well as showing you how to do the research and planning aspects of any production.

The Level 3 Extended Diploma is a two year course worth 180 credits and is usually taken after successful completion of the Diploma in the first year. These units range from Music Video production to Journalism to Animation to Film Studies. We are also currently running units in Page Layout and Design and in Live TV Studio Production. As well as the product - video, radio, magazine etc. - you will also have to put together a file of research and planning for each project. We will show you how to present this work to near professional standards and we will provide help with the English if necessary. All our software is industry standard - Final Cut, Adobe Audition, Adobe Creative suite etc. We will take you to the London Film Festival, as well as events at the British Film Institute and BBC radio recordings. There is also an international trip - recently we have arranged study visits to Berlin, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
