Course programme

What will I learn?

How to plan and produce products in a range of mediums for film, print and web, you will also develop core skills of analysis through a variety of media texts with a focus on moving image You will also engage in contemporary issues and debates surrounding the media industry

How will I be assessed?

The course is 50% coursework assessed where you will plan and produce media products and 50% examination

What may it lead to?

A number of students have progressed to a range of Media and Film related courses at University

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs including Maths and English along with an enthusiastic interest in media

Work Experience

Students will benefit from trips to Warner Bros Studios for the Harry Potter Studios experience and visits from industry professionals
