The workshop will enable participants to:
Correctly identify medical gas cylinders
Identify tickopress labels
Recognise how cylinders operate
Be aware of the hazards of asphyxia
Recognise the hazards posed by oxygen enrichment
Select the correct gas control equipment
Recognise the hazards of using incorrect manual handling techniques
Re-assess current storage facilities in line with safe working practices
Look at manifold systems from a safety viewpoint
Medical Gases Safety (31/2 hours) £85 per person for up to 8 delegates, additional delegates £90 per head up to a maximum of 20 delegates
