To understand and discuss safety aspects and recognition of equipment available. To learn the safe assembly and usage of equipment. Understand the delivery of Gasses, including Indications and Contra-Indications of use. Learn about reporting usage and maintenance of equipment. Revise CPR Involving Oxygen Delivery. Suitable for First Aiders in the high risk workplace environment, such as mining, construction developments involving enclosed spaces, and where there may be a possible delay in emergency response.

* Candidates are advised to revise from course material , so that knowledge can be applied to practical work within the allocated time.

Training Officer
Dean joined the company in 2000 as an ambulance technician, and has been training for the company since 2002. His friendly and knowledgeable approach to training is often commented upon by his students, as is his hands-on attitude towards delivery. Dean continues to thrive within the company, and now oversees the majority of our internal staff training and EMT skills updates, including the administering of Medical Gasses and the use of AEDs.
