Michelle was a teacher who ran an ECDL Centre before starting the Pitman Training Preston centre. She worked as a temporary secretary in her student days so knows the pressures on secretaries and the value of training in reducing stress.
Course programme
Held in: Preston, Lancashire or via our distance learning system.
Teaches medical terminology (maps to AMSPAR Level 2 Certificate in Medical Terminology) and the NHS way to set out documents. Includes: an introduction to the GP practice; general and private hospitals; psychology, gastro-enterology and neurology.
Successful completion of this course will enable you to work towards further qualifications, such as the AMSPAR Level 2 Certificate/Award in Medical Terminology (usually an extra £80 but included in our Summer offer). Please note that AMSPAR exams are only held on set dates, every January, June & November.
