Medication Awareness for Nurses Working in Mental Health: Module 1 (The Basics) Medication Awareness - Mental Health
A specialist course covering types of medications used to treat Mental Health problems, their storage, administration, side effects and contraindication in different groups of people.

The course aims in particular to familiarise its readers with the use and side effects of antidepressant, antipsychotic, anxiolytic and hypnotic medications.

This course can be used in conjunction with Medication Awareness and Dosage Calculation: An Introductory Package for Nurses, or as standalone training for Care Workers, Enablers, Mental Health Nurses and other healthcare professionals who work with individuals suffering from Mental Health problems.
