This is a theory based course for all health and social care workers, students will need to participate in group work and discussions.

The course is delivered over 3 hours for a brief overview of the Mental capacity Act, it is recommended that students also attend a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard course to give them up to date knowledge and understanding of both parts to assist in the best delivery of care services.
