A Short History
IPS International commenced life as the training division of Co-Steel Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. Initially called the North Kent Technology Training Centre, training was mainly delivered within the parent company and to other major employers in the area. In 1991 the increasingly commercial focus, dealing with other companies, led to a change of name to The IPS Training Group, still a division of Co-Steel Sheerness. In late 1991 IPS acquired the Aylesford based engineering apprentice training centre of SCA. IPS expanded rapidly and through its steel industry connections delivered training to steel manufacturers throughout the world. In 1997 IPS was set up as a limited company and changed its name to IPS International Ltd. In 2001 the management team took the company independent through a management buy out.

Where we operate
Our premises in Kent allow us to provide centre-based programmes for our clients. We also deliver training programmes on our clients' sites throughout the UK while our industrial and commercial background allows us to add real value to our customers, businesses in a wide range of sectors.
