The Microsoft Vista Desktop Support course will teach you everything you need to become an IT technical support professional for the Windows Vista Operating System.

Completing this course will see you gain official accreditation as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Windows Vista. The course will give you the skills to configure Windows Vista. These skills will include installing, network features, application features, managing and configuring the security.

The MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) course will allow you to study at your own pace and give you the opportunity to continually assess your progress via a series of lessons that cover each exam objective. As you progress though the course you will be able to apply your newly acquired skills in the 11 assignments. At the end of your training you will then be able to sit 1 online exam at a local test centre and successful completion of your exams will see you credited with the MCTS: Windows Vista Configuration.

A pre-requisite of undertaking the Vista Desktop Support course is that you have 1 year of experience in the IT field and of resolving issues concerning network connectivity, desktop OS, security and applications (login problems, password resets, desktop troubleshooting).
