This intermediate Microsoft Excel training course is suitable whatever version of Excel you use, from 2007 – 2016, you will expand your knowledge and skills. By the end of this course, you will be able to create charts, work effectively with multiple sheets in workbooks, use basic functions effectively, use productivity tools and work with the Excel list/database features.

Led by highly experienced Microsoft Excel trainers with many years of experience our hands-on courses mean that you will leave with lots of practical Excel experience as well as useful tips and tricks.

This course is instructor led, involving the use of numerous examples and exercises in a workshop environment in order to allow you plenty of time to practice and consolidate your learning. We train on version 2013 which is almost identical to 2007, 2010 and 2016, please make the trainer aware on the day if you use a another version and they can point out anything that may be slightly different.

Once you have completed this you will be ready to move onto our Advanced Excel course.

About this course

By the end of this course, students will be able to create and format charts, work effectively with multiple sheets in workbooks, use productivity tools, copy and paste data in the format you want it in, quick analysis tools and work with the Excel list/database features.

Having practiced all of these new skills extensively during the course you will be able to hit the ground running on your return to the office and should be able to complete your Excel work far more quickly.

This course assumes that you have gained a basic understanding of Windows. Additionally, students should have an understanding of concepts covered in the Excel Essentials course. These include creating workbooks, using AutoFill and AutoSum, constructing formulae, Absolute Cell References and formatting worksheets.
