Word 2003 Expert
The Microsoft Word 2003 Curriculum includes topics such as basic document management, text editing, formatting, using tables, etc., as well as an introduction to the new Word 2003 interface. This curriculum teaches learners some of the more advanced Word 2003 capabilities (indexes, table of content, charts, graphics, macros, etc.). Students will learn to format and proof a document; enhance a document with drawing objects, charts, Clip Art, graphics and presentation enhancements; create a mail merge; and create envelopes and labels by merging an address list, perform advanced text editing and handling operations; manage documents within a workgroup environment; and insert table of contents, cross-references and bookmarks in a document.
Excel 2003 Expert
This curriculum is designed to introduce learners to the fundamental spreadsheet capabilities of Excel 2003. This includes topics such as basic worksheet and workbook management, entering and editing data, formatting worksheets, inserting charts, etc., as well as an introduction to some new Excel 2003 interface elements. In addition, this curriculum teaches learners some of the more advanced Excel 2003 capabilities (file management, calculations,data analysis, database integration, workgroup capabilities, etc.). Students will learn how to format and print data in a worksheet; make worksheet calculations by using the advanced formulas and functions provided by Excel; manipulate data in a worksheet; create and edit workbooks for integrating with Web technology; and add and modify charts, graphics and 3D shapes to a worksheet, create and use templates; retrieve, sort and manipulate data from a list; create and modify shared workbooks; and analyse data by using Data Map, Pivot Table, Data Table Scenario and Data Analysis tools.
Access 2003 Core
The Microsoft Access 2003 Curriculum will give learners the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to create, edit, and query databases and tables. This curriculum will give students the skills and knowledge necessary to take full advantage of Microsoft Access 2003's advanced capabilities. Students will learn how to create and manipulate forms, create and manipulate reports, integrate with the web, and use some of Access 2003's advanced tools.
PowerPoint 2003 Core
The Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 Curriculum will give learners the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to create, edit, enhance, and run PowerPoint 2003 presentations. This curriculum will give students the skills and knowledge necessary to take full advantage of Microsoft PowerPoint 2003's advanced capabilities. Students will learn how to add advanced features (such as animations and slide builds) to a presentation, incorporate charts and tables, and use advanced presentation delivery options.
Outlook 2003 Core
The Microsoft Outlook 2003 Curriculum teaches learners how to use Outlook effectively to communicate with others, organize their schedules and work. After completing this curriculum, learners will be able to send messages to people inside and outside their organization, schedule appointments and meetings, maintain a contact list, and organize their activities with tasks, notes, and journal entries. In addition, more sophisticated skills, such as integrating Outlook with Office applications, sending and receiving faxes, sharing information in public and Network folders, and working remotely, are also taught in this curriculum.
