Requirements:
Programme pre-requisites: No previous experience in using Outlook is required in this introductory programme. It is assumed, however, that you have:
-Knowledge of personal computer fundamentals
-Experience in working within the Microsoft Windows environment
-A reasonable degree of keyboard proficiency
-Experience in using a mouse
Course objectives:
On completion of this course you will be able to:
-Create a signature for mail messages; use Outlook stationery; organise and manage the contents of your inbox; search for specific mail messages; and, modify message settings and set delivery options for mail messages
-Assign labels and categories to appointments; propose a ne- meeting time when you receive a meeting request; reserve resources for a meeting; customise the calendar folder
-Assign a task to another individual and organise and manage your task list
-Send a mail message and a task request to a contact and correspond with a contact
-Create a task from a note; assign contacts and categories to notes; customise notes to suit your preferences and needs
