In our Word Intermediate course learn to work with sections in documents, create columns, create and manipulate tables, use word automatics, plus use simple graphics to present documents to their best advantage using Word. By the end of this course, students will be able to improve document presentation and layout, create a standard document using an existing template, organise and maintain text in a table and insert and edit graphics and drawing objects.

Word has a surprising array of picture editing functions available now. Tilt, twist, reflect, make into a canvas, change colours are just a few of the options available.

About this course

The aim of this course is to show you how to use some of the more advanced features of Word. By the end of this one day course you will be confident working with sections in documents, creating columns, creating and manipulating tables, use word automatics, plus use simple graphics to present documents to their best advantage using Word. By the end of this course, students will be able to improve document presentation and layout, create a standard document using an existing template,

It is recommended that students have basic experience with the underlying operating system and the file management system. Additionally, students should either have attended or have an understanding of concepts covered in our Word Essentials course. These include producing, saving and retrieving documents, views, editing and formatting characters and paragraphs in a document.

Our courses run from 9.30 am to approximately 4.15pm. While you are with us we are focused on offering you a relaxed and productive learning environment. When you book a course with use you get the following:
