On this 3-day workshop (November 1, 2 and 30), you will learn how to focus your awareness, cultivate calmness and develop non-judgemental acceptance through a range of mindfulness practices. This course can help you apply speech techniques more effectively and facilitate your work on avoidance reduction. It can also help you with stress management.

What mindfulness is

Setting up an ongoing practice schedule.

You will be taught by a specialist stammering therapist who is also a mindfulness teacher, and one of the UK's leading mindfulness teachers. This is a highly practical course. Each session you will participate in mindfulness practices led by the tutors. Home practice is an integral and essential part of the course. You will have access to free MP3 downloads to help you continue the practices in between sessions and after the course has ended.
