Course programme
This module will prepare you to assess and manage patients who have minor illnesses, incorporating a symptom-based, patient safety-focused approach.
Combine with our Minor Injuries module to achieve a PG Cert in Minor Illness and Injury, or add Advanced Skills in Clinical Assessment and Advanced Non-Medical Prescribing modules to gain a PG Dip or MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice.
This module has been developed by Dr Paul Silverston, Senior Lecturer in Clinical Assessment & Minor Illness Teaching, Anglia Ruskin University and Visiting Professor of Primary Care, University Campus Suffolk. Paul was a GP in Newmarket for twenty years and has considerable experience in teaching minor illness.
