About this course
The course is aimed to provide the participant with the skills to understand and research the subject(s) of a meeting, identify the key points and record accurately; to prepare and deliver notes which are to the point and clearly understandable; to create the necessary templates for formal minute preparation (templates provided on course).
The course is ideal PAs, EAs and Admin staff who would like to have the confidence in minute taking. It is also ideal for anyone wanting to further their career by been involved with management because of their new skill.
A good standard of English Language written and spoken.
Certificat in Minute Taking - CPD accredited.
This one day workshop is highly interactive. It will combine tutor led instructions with numerous practical examples; it demonstrates what it takes to be an effective Minute Taker; listening techniques to enhance concentration.
Souters will email course content, schedule, map, registration form and a little information on the history of Souters. This will be done the same day as the request.
Souters will assist in getting your CV job-ready and suggest interview tips. We also advertise job vacancies on our website and on our in-house notice board. This is done weekly. We do also send CVs to any company that approaches us for new graduates. In this case the CV will be sent only on the student's instructions.
