We will be using acrylic and other water-based materials as well as oils. We will explore the potential of different printing techniques that can be practised at home as well as in the classroom context (monoprint, lino printing, collagraphs etc). We will try out reactions between different materials (eg oil and water-based resist techniques) as well as developing some traditional techniques such as alla prima, impasto and pentimento.
