Mixed Media - Photography

Course Detail
Using the photographic image as a starting point, this three-day course will enable you to develop a project that explore expressive possibilities across a range of hands-on mixed media techniques: including embroidery, paint, weaving and collage. The sessions will cover project proposal development, basic digital camera skills, editing, demonstrations on different approaches to mixed media as well as tutor and peer feedback on the development of your work.

Course Outcomes
You will acquire knowledge and understanding of artists, themes and practices associated with mixed media photography and increase your confidence in experimenting with a range of techniques and materials. You will also develop your camera and editing kills in order to produce good quality images to work on and develop your personal mixed media photography project.
