For employees required to operate forklifts in the workplace. Operators are trained in legislation theory safe operation and use of vehicle mounted forklifts.

Subject to passing the theory and practical tests the operator is issued with a certificate of training. To assist in complying with HSE gudelines a permit to operate is prepared by Viamaster for issue on behalf of the operators employer.

If these tests are passed the trainee will gain a full RTITB licence for the truck tested on.
