STOP There!! this is your chance to make your dreams come true, Why not retrain, this course is for anyone wanting to take that first step in the right Direction, no matter if you are a complete beginner this course is for you Taught by Celebrity Hair & Make up Stylist's working within the IndustryThe course runs for Four Weeks 10.30-4.00pm Mon-Fri at Hampton Court StudiosFee's £2,500.00 Course OutlineMake up for Film,TV, Theatre, Special Effects, Period looks Wig maintenance and application and Hair Stying, The course offer students a comprehensive grounding in all aspects of media make up and hair as taught by celebrity make up artists and designers active within the industry, this allows students to practice what they have been taught on each other which enables them to gain confidence.The course guarantees student at least one day work experience within:-Theatre or TV in order to provide the first step. to credible CV essential to gain employment in the make up media industry, as well as on going practical back up and support via the lecturer following the course. Week one- Day One1 Introduction to Hampton Court Studios Make up2 Roll of Professional Make up Artist within the industry3.Face analyst, Face Shapes understanding colours and pigments4 Application of foundations i.e. the right type and colour5 Contouring / Court make ups6 Hands on with students to create the perfect canvas for any make up Day two1.Demonstrations of basic make up,2.Hands on with students3.Eye Shapes/Correct with make up4.Lip Shapes/Correction with make up5.Final LookDay Three- Celebrity make up styles, how to achieve the glossy Celebrity look essential in Media todayDay Four- Copying looks via pictures continuity and ability to break down different make up structuresDay Five- Final Look,Students will have the opportunity to create a look influenced by the media but designed by themselves Week twoDays 1-4- Basic Hair Styling with confidence Blow drying , Rollering, Tonging , Celebrity styles and techniques creating a chignon wig maintenance and applicationDay 5 Full look with hair and make up.Week ThreeDays 1-3- Special Effects including Burns,Stitches,Slash Wrists, Death make up, Bruising, dirtying down for TV & Theatre and blood application.Day 4- Introduction to Period make ups how the pass influences the present covering 1920's and 1940'sDay 5- 1960's Make up and hair from the past to Amy Winehouse. Week FourDay 1-2- Theatrical make up ageing, panto dame and women to menDay 3- Students will be given scenarios based on the past weeks that incorporate all they have learnt this enables the students to design a create a look in a time frame relevant to industry work with the help and input from the lecturer.Day 4-5- Final looks catch up days intensely covering any questions giving help and guidance to their future career.Professional Photographer will be available for portfolio work.Students are advised to bring in a camera on all days to record all work for their own portfolio, however Professional Photographers will be available in the final days.All successful students are awarded the HCS "Intensive Media Make up" Diploma"
