Introduction We offer a range of Motor Vehicle courses, using our own workshops for the development of practical skills. We also offer the YAP (Young Apprentice Programme) through Jaguar/Land Rover.

Starting at Level 1 courses for 14-16 year olds, through to Level 2 and skill enhancement programmes, our technical certificate programmes can be tailored to an individual's needs.

Course Units

Level 1
Level 1 is based mainly in the workshop. You learn how to work safely as well as basic vehicle maintenance and servicing. The level 1 programme is broken down into five sections

· Foundation Studies (Covers Units LV1 & LV2)
· Chassis Technology & Routine Maintenance (Covers Units LV3 & LV4)
· Engine Technology (Covers Unit LV5)
· Transmission Technology (Covers Unit LV6)
· Electrical & Electronic Technology (Covers Unit LV7)

Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 2:
Usually attending College one to three days per week this course consists of: Level 2 (Five Sections)

· Chassis Technology
· Engine Technology
· Transmission Technology
· Electrical & Electrical Technology
· General Aspects e.g. health and safety, legal aspects and organisational requirements.

Tuition Fees(Cost) all training is free to the apprentice
