If you wish to work in a maintenance role in a variety of areas of the motor industry, this programme offers you the training you will need. Level 2 Apprenticeships cover the basic principles of motor vehicle systems and their required maintenance. The emphasis is on practical work, with Functional Skills included that are central to your career and personal development. Once you’ve applied for an Apprenticeship we will do our best to help you find employment or you may already found a job that will give you the experience and skills needed for this kind of work. Only when you have employment, can you start your Apprenticeship programme.

What are the entry requirements?

Minimum qualifications:

Four GCSEs at Grade E, including Maths, English and Science.; an interest in motor vehicles and some practical ability; plus suitable employment before your Apprenticeship can begin.

What else do I need to know?

Year 1 will be held on Wednesdays

Year 2 will be held on Thursdays

What can I do after this course?

If you successfully complete the Level 2 Apprenticeship you maybe allowed to progress to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, with your employer’s agreement
