About this course

Ideally you will have completed the relevant level 1 units and your Maths and English should be of a good standard or you should have relevant trade experience in the chosen subject. If Maths or English are not at the required level, candidates will be required to take part in Key Skills. This would either be block form or extended hours.

Course Content:
The course will be a mixture of theory and practical.

You will be required to attend on a regular basis, as there is a 90% attendance requirement on the course. Assessments will be via computer based, on-line testing and practical assessments.

Progression:
Previous qualified students have obtained employment into local garages. Others have progressed to complete a level 3 course or motor sports qualification.
