A good understanding of the Motor Vehicle and successful completion of ABC 397 Motor Vehicle Servicing & Repair Level 1 or City & Guilds 383 Part 1 Repair and Servicing of Road Vehicles or City & Guilds 6956 Progression Award in Motor Vehicle Servicing & Repair (Light Vehicles) Level 1 or a relevant Level 1 Motor Vehicle course. You will need to have an interview with the course tutor before you can enrol for this course. Course Content Students will work within the City & Guilds standards studying the following Level 2 units: • Health, Safety and Good Housekeeping • Materials, tools, fabrication and measurement • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance • Engine systems • Electrical auxiliary systems • Chassis systems • Driveline systems • Vehicle inspections How will I be assessed? A written multiple-choice with each unit and a practical assignment with each unit. Progression On successful completion of the City & Guilds. Level 2 Motor Vehicle Servicing & Repair course, you can progress onto the City & Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Servicing & Repair course.
