Motorcycle Prep

This lesson is for customers who have never ridden a geared motor cycle before.

The lesson will usually last between one and two hours according to ability.

This is to save time on your CBT and reduce any embarrassment in front of other candidates.

Price

The lesson is free on the condition that you take up further training i.e. CBT or DAS.

If you decide that motorcycling is not for you after the prep lesson, we will just charge for your training time, which will be £35.

General Information

Our training ground is at Premier Bikes motorcycle shop Askern, Doncaster DN6 0EP. We are able to cater not just for South Yorkshire Doncaster areas, but also North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire (Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Pontefract, Selby, Goole, Scunthorpe) and has very good access from the motorway networks A1M and the M62 and the main A19.

The new multipurpose test centres introduced this year by the DSA are based in Rotherham and Scunthorpe giving you a choice of venues. Unfortunately you are no longer able to test in Doncaster.

The facilities are very good with a nice show room, toilets and an excellent cafe and most important of all lots of bikes for you to choose from when you pass your test. A discount of 10% for clothing is offered for our customers and special deals on bike purchases. We have a fleet of quality clean well maintained bikes. These include late model Kawasaki ER5, Suzuki GN 125 and Yamaha EW 50 bikes.

We use the most up to date reliable Autocom communication system again regulary serviced. Helmets, gloves, jackets and waterproofs are provided and sizes range from XS to XXL should you require any other size please ask.

Adapted cut down seats are available for the DAS course for the smaller rider and heated handle bar grips for your comfort during the winter months.

We try to make the courses reasonably flexible to meet individual requirements but most test(s) are done midweek. Deposits are required for DAS courses and full payment for CBT's.

Please note - all candidates must bring with them BOTH parts of their licence, and know their Highway Code. Anyone wishing to take a practical motorcycle test, will need, either a two part photo card licence or the old paper licence accompanied with a valid Passport. The DSA will NOT accept any other form of ID.
