Learning outcomes and objectives
- To have an understanding of current legislation and the principles of risk assessment.
- To gain an understanding of back care and possible damage that may be caused by incorrect lifting and handling.
- To learn the principles of safer moving and handling and have the opportunity to use a range of manual handling equipment designed for assisting other people to move.

Full day courses usually run from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
