Learning outcomes and objectives

  • To have an understanding of current legislation and the principles of risk assessment.
  • To gain an understanding of back care and possible damage that may be caused by incorrect lifting and handling.
  • To learn the principles of safer moving and handling and have the opportunity to use a range of manual handling equipment designed for assisting other people to move.

  • Common Induction Standards unit 3 (3.2)

Full day courses usually run from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Additional information

Payment options: £60 per person inclusive of lunch, refreshments, certificate of attendance and handouts. Payment can be made by monthly instalments for any invoice in excess of £350.
