oving image designers are highly specialised, yet they require a broad range of skills and capabilities to meet the wide-ranging demands of industry. They can become creative directors; highly creative and innovative problem solvers, and experimental designers who, through their design abilities and knowledge of technology, can offer a thoroughly innovative approach to a brief. MA Moving Image prepares you for industry, offering the opportunity to work closely with a range of industry partners to develop your chosen specialism.
Moving Image Designers need to be able to devise new ways to attracting audiences, whether through promotion and advertising; exhibition; moving image for mobile devices and the web, and other areas of motion design. Conceptual dexterity is a valuable industry skill.

Fees
- A continuation fee of £800 per year (full time) and £400 per year (part time) is applicable to full time students unable to complete the course within one academic year and to part time students unable to complete the course within two academic years.
- Arrangements can be made with the finance office to pay tuition fees in three termly instalments. There is an administration charge of 1% of the full year's tuition fee (minimum £20) for making this arrangement
- Isle of Man and Channel Islands students will be charged International fees for Postgraduate courses.
Payment of Fees
Students may pay fees either directly to the college or by applying for a tuition fee loan.

Where students are paying fees directly to the college, tuition fees are due in full at the start of the academic year or by the dates stated above if a discount is being claimed.
Where agreement exists to pay by instalments, fees are payable as follows:-
- 40% of the tuition fee + registration fees (if applicable) + administration charge on enrolment.
- 30% of tuition fee at the start of the second term.
- 30% of the tuition at the start of the third term.
Should a student withdraw from a course during the year, tuition fees will be charged as follows:-
- Withdrawal during the first two weeks nil
- Withdrawal before 1st January First terms fees payable
- Withdrawal on or after 1st January Full years fees payable
- Where Registration fees are charged these are payable on enrolment at the start of the academic year and are not refundable.

Overseas applicants who are unable to attend interview will be asked to submit a project proposal, a portfolio of work on disc and a personal written statement.
