Course introduction: Whether your background is in nursing, health visiting, police, education, the voluntary sector or you have other relevant professional experience, this course will give you the in-depth understanding and theoretical knowledge and skills you need to practice at an advanced level in child protection.

About this course

The entry requirements for this course are a qualified health or social care practitioner, who has a degree or equivalent experience. We look for candidates to have a background in health or social care  in order to be eligible for the programme. We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry. As a practitioner in the public domain of health and social care services, you are expected to be innovative, provide leadership and make an advanced contribution in your professional role.
