The oil and gas industry instrumentation professional must be equipped to understand the principles and implementation of instrumentation, the importance of efficient and reliable measurement and control systems and have a suitably wide perspective of the subject area so that a number of different approaches to a problem can be identified. This programme addresses these requirements. The MSc Applied Instrumentation and Control (Oil & Gas) is available to study full-time beginning in-09-and January.

UK honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or science discipline preferably with strong electrical/electronics/physics content.
