This course will provide you with a thorough understanding of the internationally recognised best practice programme management methodology, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).  The MSP Foundation course will prepare you to interact effectively with those involved in the management of a programme or act as an informed member of a Programme office team, business change team or project delivery team working within an environment supporting MSP. The foundation qualification is a pre-requisite for the practitioner certification where the emphasis is on application of the principles to real life scenarios. The course fee includes the Foundation exam the official MSP manual and an event prepartion CD Learning Objectives The key objectives of this course are: Provide Delegates with an understanding of the benefits and principles underlying a structured approach to programme management.Apply the principles of MSP® to programmes within a work environment.Operate effectively with colleagues and managers within a structured programme and project management environment.Enable delegates to understand the MSP® framework to be prepared to sit the APM Group/OGC MSP® Foundation exam.

Blueprint Design and Delivery - What is a Blueprint, and what does it contain? Developing a Blueprint from the Vision Statement.

Defining a Programme - Creating a Programme Definition Document (including the Project Dossier, the Programme Plan and the Programme Business Case).

Planning and Control - What is a Programme Plan and how is it developed? The Project Dossier. Resourcing and scheduling.
