If you have a strong background and qualifications in either Music Performance or Technology, this course is designed for you to develop your studies further in your chosen specialist area, whilst having the opportunity to develop skills from the opposite pathway.

The BA Hons in Music Performance and Technology is a full 3 year modular programme validated by the Open University that involves two pathways, Music Performance and Music Technology. You will have access to the department's industry-standard Recording Studios, Rehearsal Rooms and industry- standard Music Computer Suites including Cubase SX, Logic, Pro-Tools, Ableton, Reason and Sibelius software.

Core areas involve Recording Studio Techniques, Live Sound, MIDI Sequencing, Music Performance, Music Law and Composition.
