This course will give students the chance to develop their musical ability through performance, composition and use of technology.
What will I learn?
Using industry standard equipment you will apply skills, knowledge and understanding to the planning, preparation and rehearsal of a showcase of your work. Be that on CD or through public. You will be given the opportunity to look at studio music and recording music effectively in the context of the wider music industry as well as applying your musical performance skills to ensemble and band work. You need to have some musical knowledge in order to join this course and must be able to contribute to performance aspects with your chosen instrument. You will have a passion for music be that Popular, Classical or more avante garde forms.
